Ducati’s motocross journey is shifting up a gear in 2026, teaming with Dutch boss Louis Vosters to take its Desmo450 MX project full factory. The partnership with Vosters’ proven Dutch outfit — one of the most professional operations in the MXGP paddock — marks a major step for the Italian brand as it commits to a full three-bike assault on the world’s toughest motocross championship.
Based out of the sand tracks of Bergeijk, just a stone’s throw from Lommel, the new Ducati squad will line up Jeremy Seewer, Andrea Bonacorsi, and Calvin Vlaanderen — a serious mix of experience, youth, and Dutch grit.

Seewer stays red after a strong debut season that saw the Swiss charger bag podiums in Ducati’s maiden MXGP campaign. Joining him is Italy’s Andrea Bonacorsi — a two-time European champ and one of the brightest young names in the sport — along with Calvin Vlaanderen, the 2022 MXGP Grand Prix winner and MXoN hero for the Netherlands.
Vosters, who’s spent nearly a decade building his own competitive MXGP operation, says joining forces with Ducati is the ultimate dream move. “It’s not just about next season,” he says. “This is a long-term project built on trust and the drive to win.”
For Ducati, it’s another confident stride in its off-road evolution — proof that the Bologna brand isn’t just dipping its toes in the dirt, but planting both boots firmly in the MXGP trenches.
