Star-Studded Line-Up Confirmed for 2025 KTM AJMX

The countdown is on to the 2025 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship (AJMX), with a stacked entry list now finalised ahead of racing at the iconic Gillman Motocross Track in South Australia from September 29 to October 3.

This year’s event will feature an exceptional line-up of Australia’s best junior talent, many of whom arrive with experience from the Penrite ProMX Championship and the 2025 FIM Junior World Motocross Championship in France. With proven contenders dropping back from senior-level competition, the stage is set for one of the most competitive AJMX events in recent memory.

Riders to Watch

MX85 Class – ProMX Standouts
The hotly contested 85cc category will see three of ProMX’s front-runners carry their form into Gillman.

  • Seth Thomas (GASGAS): Runner-up in the ProMX MX85 Cup and fresh off a P3 finish at the FIM Junior World Championship, Thomas is the rider to beat.
  • Zander Kruik (KTM): Always in the mix, Kruik’s consistency netted him third overall in ProMX and he’ll be a serious title challenger.
  • Deegan Fort (Yamaha): Fourth in ProMX MX85, Fort has the speed and grit to put himself firmly in podium contention.

MX65 Futures – Rising Stars
The 65cc class continues to build Australia’s next wave of talent, with the ProMX Futures podium arriving intact.

  • Archie Black (KTM): Dominated the series and comes in wearing the #1 plate.
  • Mason Ezergailis (KTM): Runner-up in ProMX Futures and a world championship campaigner in France.
  • Ryder Madafiglio (Husqvarna): P3 in ProMX Futures, quick and capable of causing an upset.
  • Kye Sproule (Yamaha): Fifth in ProMX, but his P9 at the Junior Worlds makes him a dark horse at Gillman.

Women’s Class – International Credentials

  • Karaitiana Horne (Kawasaki): Fourth in the ProMX MXW class and the standout for Team New Zealand at the FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup. Expect her to be at the front.
