The organisers of the 2016 ISDE have used the current event in Slovakia, as a platform to launch details of next year’s tournament. Spain will play host to the 91st edition of the FIM ISDE – the oldest competition in the international calendar.

The 2016 competition will unusually take place from Tuesday, October 11th; to Sunday, October 16th (the event normally begins on the Monday). The Circuito Navarra will prove a challenging enduro track, situated near Los Arcos in Northern Spain.

Having opened in 2010 the track will utilise its permanent infrastructure to provide facilities such as media and medical centres. Riders will also be able to enjoy the warmer climate and rich culture of the region.

2016 will mark the fourth time that Spain has hosted the ISDE since Escorial held the race in 1970. Spanish Cities, Alp (1985) and Granada (2000) have also enjoyed the chance to host the tournament.

Next year’s event will also include the first ever FIM Enduro vintage Trophy. The structure of the new class will include two days of racing with an attempt to lure International vintage riders from all over the world.
