YCF Australia is expanding its electric mini bike range with the new START 6.0, arriving this November and giving young riders an affordable introduction to two wheels.
Bringing proper motocross styling to a smaller package, the new START 6.0 is designed for kids taking their first steps into dirt bike riding, with adjustable speed settings that let parents dial things back as confidence and skills develop.
A 600W brushless electric motor and a 36V 8Ah lithium battery provide the power. Riders can choose between three speed settings, with maximum speeds of 18km/h, 25km/h and 30km/h.
The START 6.0 rolls on 14-inch wheels and features front suspension and an adjustable hydraulic rear shock to absorb uneven terrain. Hydraulic disc brakes at both ends handle stopping duties, while a full chain cover and electronic safety key lanyard add extra protection. If the rider comes off, the lanyard is designed to cut power to the bike.
Weighing just 20kg, the START 6.0 is lightweight and easy to handle. YCF claims up to 60 minutes of riding time per charge, with recharging taking about 2–2.5 hours. Families can also order spare batteries to extend riding sessions.
Finished in white with YCF graphics, the START 6.0 is aimed at backyard sessions and family days on private tracks, bringing electric motocross-style fun to the next generation of riders.
The new YCF START 6.0 is due to arrive in Australia this November.
