Ducati has officially entered the world of American off-road racing, announcing the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing Team for the 2026 AMA Supercross, AMA Pro Motocross, and SuperMotocross Championship Series.
The announcement, made in Sunnyvale, California, marks Ducati’s first official off-road program in North America, signalling a bold new chapter for the brand best known for its road racing success. The all-new team will make its debut at Anaheim 1 Supercross on January 10, 2026.
This partnership brings together three iconic forces in motorsport — Ducati, Troy Lee Designs, and Red Bull — each synonymous with creativity, performance, and racing passion. The collaboration unites Ducati’s engineering precision, Red Bull’s energy and athlete-driven vision, and TLD’s signature style and craftsmanship, forming one of the most talked-about factory efforts in recent Supercross history.

Ducati Corse Off-Road: From Europe to the US
The move follows two years of development under the Ducati Corse Off-Road program in Europe, where the Desmo450 MX has already shown serious promise.
Testing began with Tony Cairoli, Alessandro Lupino, Jeremy Seewer, and Mattia Guadagnini, and in 2024 Ducati made its World Championship debut in the Netherlands. Lupino went on to claim Ducati’s first motocross title in the Italian MX1 Prestige Championship, while Seewer delivered two MXGP podiums aboard the Desmo450 MX during 2025.
A Reunion of Legends
The project also reunites Troy Lee Designs and Red Bull, two names that have worked side by side for more than 20 years. From early Supermoto programs in 2001 through to a dominant decade in Supercross and Motocross between 2016 and 2024, the partnership has been defined by creative energy and championship success.
Red Bull’s deep involvement in AMA Supercross has helped shape the modern era of the sport — developing riders, supporting teams, and driving the storytelling that connects fans worldwide. Meanwhile, Troy Lee Designs has built its own legacy as one of the most influential brands in the paddock, blending art, performance, and rider culture like no other.
