Triumph has added a brand-new TF 450-X to its 2026 motocross line-up, packing factory-level tech, updated componentry, and race-winning performance into its latest 450-class machine.

Following the debut of last year’s TF 450-RC, the new TF 450-X builds on the same race-developed DNA, making it available in a standard production model with a few fresh updates for 2026.

Power and Performance

With 62.4hp at 9500rpm, Triumph claims the TF 450-X is the most powerful 450 motocross engine on the market. Paired with an ultra-light 108.3kg chassis, it delivers a class-leading power-to-weight ratio that translates directly into holeshot launches, responsive handling, and agile cornering.

Under the skin, the forged König piston, Del West titanium valves, DLC-coated cams, and magnesium engine covers highlight Triumph’s factory-level attention to detail. Add the Dell’Orto 44mm throttle body, Brembo hydraulics, and standard-fit quickshifter, and the TF 450-X is built to withstand punishment while remaining razor sharp.

Chassis and Handling

The TF 450-X continues with Triumph’s unique aluminium spine frame and hydroformed swingarm, tuned for stiffness, flex, and traction balance. The race-developed KYB suspension carries over from the RC edition, featuring a 48mm AOS coil spring fork and a fully adjustable shock refined for pro-level control in rhythm sections, heavy braking zones, and flat landings.

Brembo brakes, Galfer discs, lightweight D.I.D. rims, and Pirelli MX32 tyres come standard, completing a premium rolling package.
