Beta Motorcycles Australia has announced the arrival of the 2026 RR X-PRO range, the second generation of the model that quickly found a place in the brand’s lineup.
Launched last year, the X-PRO struck a balance that appealed to a wide audience. Experienced riders appreciated its adaptable chassis, lowered seat height, and user-friendly suspension settings that made it capable in both Hard Enduro and higher-speed terrain. At the same time, developing riders found confidence in the way the bike combined control, comfort, and rideability without losing its race-bred DNA.

For MY26, Beta has sharpened the package with a mix of fresh styling and functional upgrades. The striking new red-and-black design gives the bikes an aggressive, factory look, while updates to radiators, chassis components, and engine mapping aim to make the X-PRO more durable and easier to ride at pace.
What’s New for 2026
- Cooling System – stronger radiators resist deformation and maintain optimal coolant flow in heavy going. The integrated expansion tank returns, a proven feature for maintaining stable temperatures.
- Suspension – ZF units carry over from MY25, including the SHC (Single Hydraulic Chamber) fork design that separates spring and damping duties for a freer, more predictable feel. The lower 930mm seat height compared with the RR Race models remains a standout for confidence and control.
- Chassis & Swingarm – the reinforced frame introduced in 2025 carries over, paired with a larger 22mm rear axle for improved rigidity and stability under load.

- Bar Mounts – Xtrig FlexFix mounts feature built-in vibration damping, reducing rider fatigue, and softer inserts are available for fine-tuning the feel.
- Recovery Strap – Beta now fits a branded front recovery strap as standard, underlining the X-PRO’s intent as a bike built for real-world off-road conditions.

- Electrics – all four-stroke models now benefit from a lighter, high-performance battery for more reliable starting.
- Mapping – refined ECU settings on the 4T models deliver smoother power and crisper throttle response across the board.
Engine & Gearbox Refinements
Beta hasn’t overlooked the details for MY26.

- 125 X-PRO 2T – a new piston and revised cylinder head sharpen the little stroker’s torque and peak power. Reinforced gearbox components ensure durability under harder use.

- 200 X-PRO 2T – inherits the gearbox upgrades from the 125, adding torque and tractability to the lightweight package.
- 250 X-PRO 2T – a more significant update: revised bore and stroke, new transfer port geometry, reshaped head, and improved crankcase layout bring smoother torque delivery and better centralisation. Second and third gears have also been reworked for a more stable transition in rough terrain.

- 300 X-PRO 2T – carries the transmission upgrades from the 250 for a smoother, more durable ride.

- 350 / 390 / 430 / 480 X-PRO 4T – all four-stroke models benefit from refined mapping. Each retains its unique character, from the rev-happy 350 to the big-bore grunt of the 480, but all now deliver a more linear, manageable spread of power.
Eight Models, One Goal
The 2026 X-PRO family continues to cover the spectrum with eight models:
- 2-Stroke: 125, 200, 250, 300
- 4-Stroke: 350, 390, 430, 480
At one end of the line sits the lightweight, high-revving 125 2T, perfect for younger riders stepping up or veterans chasing a nimble play bike. At the other is the powerhouse 480 4T, built for wide-open spaces and experienced riders who can handle its sheer torque. In between, there’s something for every style and skill level.
Ready to Ride
What unites the MY26 X-PROs is a focus on confidence, adaptability, and rider reward. With a lower seat height, smart suspension tuning, and refinements across the board, the X-PRO is as approachable for amateurs as it is capable in the hands of an expert.
