We were recently put in a situation after a race meeting that meant we couldn’t fit the little RMZ project bike back into the van for the journey home to Sydney.
Luckily, Dan and the team at MXRP were kind enough to look after the bike for us while we sorted an alternative means of transport. Cue Bikes Only, for over 20 years they have transported hundreds of thousands of motorcycles around the country and helped riders just like us, transport their pride and joy safely.
The family owned and run business was established after identifying a need in the industry for a dedicated motorcycle transporter. Today they provide a premium motorcycle transport service to all capital cities and a vast number of regional areas. Everything is kept 100% in-house with the company using their own trucks and fully trained drivers, so you can rest assured that your bike is in good hands.
James and the team at Bikes Only literally made transporting a motorcycle as easy as buying a package online and waiting by the mailbox for it to arrive. A simple phone call or email to discuss details and receive an instant quote was all it took to get the process underway.
Shortly after, we received a written booking confirmation (along with text updates) and detailed information of the move plus any requirements they had for transport. The driver of both the pickup and delivery vehicles conveniently called on the day, updating collection and drop-off times that suit all involved. The drivers are even kind enough to update you on any traffic and weather dramas that may delay their trip. Our RMZ left the Sunshine Cost (QLD) on Thursday lunch time and was back in our Sydney (NSW) warehouse at 7am the following Tuesday morning.
Whether you have just bought a new project interstate and don’t feel like a roadtrip, or want to cover more ground on your next adventure ride then hop on a plane home, Bikes Only are the only choice for shipping your ride around the country. With competitive prices (RRP on our trip was $334), and the knowledge that your bike is in the best hands, be sure to check www.bikesonly.com.au if you need to move a bike anywhere in the country.
