Triumph Motorcycles has revealed its next-generation Tiger 1200, bringing significant updates to performance, handling, comfort and technology across its four-model adventure range.
The updated 1200cc T-Plane triple now produces 158 PS, up 8 PS, with stronger low-end torque and revised engine, gearbox, and shaft-drive components to improve refinement and low-speed control.

Chassis updates include a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combination across the range, 200mm of suspension travel and revised SHOWA semi-active suspension for more agile, road-focused handling while retaining off-road capability.
One of the biggest additions is SHOWA EERA HEIGHTFLEX® semi-active suspension, which automatically lowers the seat by 30mm as the bike comes to a stop. Combined with the available low seat and adjustment options, seat height can be reduced to 790mm at a standstill.

Technology also gets a major upgrade, with a new 7-inch HD touchscreen featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus front and rear Bosch radar and a suite of rider assistance systems, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Assist, Forward Collision Warning and Emergency Brake Assist.
Revised styling brings updated bodywork, a redesigned fuel tank and a new adaptive LED projector headlight with cornering functionality.

The range continues with four models: GT Pro, Rally Pro, GT Explorer and Rally Explorer. Pro models retain a 20-litre fuel tank, while Explorer versions run a 30-litre tank for extended touring range.
The new Triumph Tiger 1200 is available to order now, with Australian dealerships receiving units from December 2026. Pricing is yet to be confirmed. Chat to your local Triumph dealer for more info, or visit www.triumphmotorcycles.com.au
