OFFICIAL! CHAD REED TO JGR YOSHIMURA SUZUKI FACTORY RACING

Chad Reed Jgr Suzuki

Chad Reed’s pre-season deal saw the number-22 race a factory JGR-prepared Suzuki RM-Z450 at the final AMA Motocross round, the Monster Energy Cup, Monster Energy Aus-X Open and NZ SX-Open. Today, it’s been announced that Reed will join the factory team for the entire 2019 AMA Supercross Championship.

Reed will join Justin Hill in the Supercross class on-board the 2019 Suzuki RM-Z450. Third team 450 rider, Weston Peick will continue to recover from his horrific facial injuries sustained recently.

“Chad Reed is a consummate professional, and I see that he has that hunger to win,” said Jeremy Albrecht, JGRMX/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing team manager. “I’m also eager to see Justin Hill race in the 450 class. The kid is an incredible talent. He has really ramped up his training program this off-season. I am looking forward to Weston Peick lining up to the gate when he’s healthy. Peick is a tough person and fierce competitor.”

The off-season #22 has shown serious speed and an obviously happy Reed is dangerous to his competitors. Bring on the AMA Supercross opener on January 5th 2019 in Anaheim.
