KSF ECSTAR Suzuki is ready to roll into Ranch MX, situated just outside Newcastle in New South Wales, for rounds seven and eight of the 2018 Pirelli MX Nationals.

This weekend is a special one for the KSF Crew with Chad Graham from Roll-101 joining the team for the round which also hosts the Retro round theme.

What is Roll-101 you ask?

ROLL-101 is a charity based trust set up by Chad Graham and his supporters to assist young people affected by chronic or terminal illness or by catastrophic injuries.

Graham grew up racing motocross himself and was widely regarded as a very talented young rider. Unfortunately, for Graham a serious accident while training back in 2007, resulted in the then 16-year-old a C5/C6 incomplete quadriplegic.

After going on to finish his HSC and find employment in the motorcycle world, Graham set up Roll-101 to help and pass on as much positive information for young people affected by catastrophic injuries.

KSF team owner Scott Fischer has had the opportunity to get to know Chad very well over the years and is honoured to be able to help spread Chad’s message via his national level race team this weekend at Ranch MX.

“I got to know Chad via my son, and he has spent a lot of time at our house over the years,” Fischer explained. “I have spoken to him a lot about what he has been through, and he has been very open with the challenges he initially faced and continues to face to this day.”

“He really is a remarkable man, and the Roll 101 charity he has set up to help young people is a great concept that we are proud to be able to help promote. It’s a charity that is there to help when no one else will, a charity that helps when the government does not see fit to help, or takes too long to respond.”

“If you are at Ranch MX this weekend, make sure you come down and meet Chad and see firsthand what his charity is all about, and if you can’t make it down make sure you head to his website http://www.roll101.com.au.”

To further push the roll101 message, the team’s graphics sponsor MOTO KIT, have also come up with a unique retro design for the big doubleheader weekend.

MOTO KIT owner and founder, Matt Bernard is no stranger to the dirt bike world, spending many years working on and putting together the Dirt Action magazine, and grew up himself racing alongside Chad Graham.

“The retro round is an exciting one as the graphics sponsor of KSF ECSTAR Suzuki.” Bernard enthused. “We were given the opportunity to do something unique and turn back time.

“We went all the way back to the late 70s era with this design. Back then, the racers were hard-core, riding with metal tanks, open face helmets, wild tracks and the Moto-X Fox machines stood out then are iconic to this day.

“To merge that idea with the Roll-101 this round was pretty special, I have known Chad for a long time, so to have his charity involved was pretty special.”

Jesse Madden will pilot the special edition Suzuki RM-Z250 in the MX2 class across both days while Corey James will once again line up for the team in the MX1 class.

Make sure to head down to Ranch MX this Saturday and Sunday the 14th and 15th of July to watch all the action and catch up with the KSF team, along with Chad Graham and his Roll-101 Charity.
