Chad Reed Reaches 200

The boy from Newcastle becomes the first International rider to reach 200 career 450SX starts.

Chad Reed needs no introduction and this weekend the Aussie legend will achieve a phenomenal feat joining only two other riders – Mike LaRocca and Kevin Windham as part of the 200 club.

It has been a stellar career for Reed collecting a number of Australian and International titles along the way. Only until a few weeks ago Reed still had the most consecutive podium results in AMA Supercross with a streak of 25 from 2003-2004.

Part of his 200 starts include a 450SX championship title in both 2004 and 2008. Reed also currently sits on 44 premier class wins, placing him fourth on the all time wins list behind legends, Jeremy McGrath, James Stewart and Ricky Carmichael.

In celebration of Reed’s achievement we thought we would share one of our most popular galleries spanning a quick history of #22’s distinguished career.
