Ruben Chadwick continued his unbeaten start to the 2026 Australian Hard Enduro Championship with another commanding performance at Esk, Queensland, sweeping both days of round two aboard his Beta RR 300 Race machine.
Fresh off his opening-round victory, the Queensland local again looked completely at home in the dry, dusty and brutally technical conditions that greeted riders across the weekend.

Saturday’s prologue didn’t start perfectly for Chadwick, with the Beta rider buried in traffic off the line, but he quickly worked his way forward through the opening turns before taking control of the race in the long creek section. Once out front, Chadwick steadily built a gap and completed seven laps to comfortably secure the win.
Sunday’s main event proved even tougher, with Esk’s rough terrain punishing both riders and bikes throughout the day. Loose rock climbs, deepening creek sections and a steep dry waterfall at the end of each lap turned the course into a survival test as conditions deteriorated.
Chadwick wasted no time asserting control, launching into the lead from the opening lap and never giving rivals a chance to respond. While others struggled in the holes and deteriorating rock sections, Chadwick rode smart lines across the tops of the terrain and avoided costly mistakes.
The strategy paid off in dominant fashion.

By race’s end, Chadwick was one of only two riders to complete three laps of the brutal course, eventually crossing the line more than an hour clear of the field to seal another outright victory and strengthen his championship lead heading into round three.
“It was great to come away with the win on both days this weekend,” Chadwick said.
“The body felt good, and the bike performed great all weekend.”
