KTM is once again putting Dakar-winning machinery within reach, with the 2027 KTM 450 RALLY REPLICA set to land in extremely limited numbers across Australia and New Zealand.
Built directly off the back of the brand’s latest Dakar success, this is about as close as you’ll get to a factory RallyGP bike without lining up on the start line. Designed for serious rally racers or riders chasing top-level off-road performance, the REPLICA continues to mirror the development and spec of KTM’s front-running race program.

Over the past five years, the 450 RALLY platform has proven itself at the very top of the sport, carrying multiple riders to overall Dakar victories and consistently featuring at the pointy end of RallyGP. The REPLICA takes that same foundation—engine, chassis and component philosophy—and puts it into a production package that’s effectively race-ready out of the crate.
Power comes from a 450cc fuel-injected SOHC engine paired with a six-speed gearbox and Brembo hydraulic clutch, with rally-specific gearing. A titanium Akrapovič exhaust keeps weight down while delivering strong, usable power across the range.

The chassis is purpose-built for rally conditions, using a hydro-formed, laser-cut and hand-welded frame designed to balance stability with rider feedback. Suspension is handled by fully adjustable WP PRO components, allowing riders to fine-tune the bike for everything from high-speed desert work to technical terrain.
As expected, the details are what set this bike apart. Dual radiators improve cooling efficiency and durability, while CNC-machined triple clamps and a tapered aluminium handlebar keep things precise without adding weight. Wider footpegs offer better control during long stints on the pegs—something this bike is clearly designed for.

Braking is handled by Brembo, and range is a major focus, with a three-tank setup delivering a total of 34.5 litres of fuel capacity. Up front, a carbon-fibre navigation tower houses the cockpit, designed to integrate a digital roadbook, controls and high-output LED lighting. The overall ergonomics are built for long days in the saddle, whether sitting or standing, with bodywork shaped to offer both protection and freedom of movement.

With just over 100 units produced globally, the 2027 KTM 450 RALLY REPLICA remains one of the most exclusive off-road machines on the market—built for those who want genuine Dakar-spec performance rather than just the look.
Interested riders will need to move quickly, with orders now open through authorised KTM dealers.
