Racing aboard his Beta RR 300 RACE 2T, Chadwick came out strong in Saturday’s prologue, which saw riders tackle four gruelling laps through dry, dusty, and loose terrain. Chadwick battled closely with rival Ibrahim throughout the session, making a decisive pass in the final stages to take the win.

Ruben started off strong, but a mistake cost him valuable time.

Sunday’s main race brought even tougher conditions, with competitors facing relentless dust, punishing hill climbs, and technical obstacles that demanded both endurance and precision. Chadwick led the field early, fending off multiple challenges before a small mistake saw him lose valuable time and the race lead. Despite pushing hard to recover, he was unable to close the gap and ultimately crossed the line in fourth place with a total race time of 5 hours and 17 minutes.

Ruben came close to the title for the second year running.

The result saw Chadwick claim third overall for Round 5 and secure second place in the 2025 Australian Hard Enduro Championship — a strong finish to a demanding season.

“It was a tough weekend out there and it was disappointing to not come away with the win on Sunday to finish off a good year. Congratulations to Wade on the championship win. Thanks to Beta Australia and my sponsors for making this possible,” said Chadwick.
