CHAD REED 16TH AT RD 2 | AMA SUPERCROSS

Chad Houston

Chad Reed had a tough night at the second round of the AMA Supercross Championship. The recovering Australian suffered mechanical issues in the Main Event.

“No rear brake in the main. It was a tough track for the fit and healthy. Which I can’t claim yet. Wasn’t happy with 16th for sure. But there were so many little wins during the day for the team.” Said Chad in a Social Media statement.

There’s no secret that the two-time AMA Champion is less prepared than usual in 2018. However, he is focused on charging towards the front as the season progresses.

“Privateer journey with no budget , zero testing and a new bike – so the reality sets in. There is much to learn, fitness and strength to build and so much to gain in the coming weeks- Patience is the hard part. But we will remain patient and build little by little. Thanks for the support!” Finished Reed.
