YAMAHA CELEBRITY CHALLENGE SET FOR MONSTER ENERGY AUS-X OPEN

Ausx Celebrity Race

A host of stars are set to bang bars at the Monster Energy Aus-X Open in Melbourne during the Yamaha Celebrity Challenge.

The celebrities will be put to the ultimate test aboard Yamaha TT-R 110’s, racing on the main stage of domestic Supercross competition with the Monster Energy AUS-X Open Melbourne being the largest action sports competition in the Southern Hemisphere.

“The Monster Energy AUS-X Open celebrity race is something where the stakes are as high as it gets,” joked Supercars driver and RPM panelist Michael Caruso.

“Celebrity, egotistical people who all think they’re better than each other, there’s no better way than throwing us on a set of Yamaha 110s and letting us loose!”

Caruso will be joined by fellow 10 stars Kate Peck and The Living Room’s Barry Du Bois with further big names to be announced as they all vie for the 2019 Yamaha Celebrity Champion title.

Last year’s race was a huge success with 2015 Supercars Champion Mark Winterbottom just etching out former NRL star, and now TV personality, Nathan Hindmarsh, with GWS star Brett Diledio in third.

This year is expected to be the biggest, baddest, Celebrity motorbike race on the planet with some huge names to be announced in the coming weeks.
