Drama, high-speed racing, and championship-defining moments lit up Sharks Stadium, Cronulla, as the Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship delivered an exciting night under the lights. Dean Wilson was officially awarded the SX1 overall win following a successful appeal, overturning a previous decision. The result extended Wilson’s lead in the SX1 championship, while the sold-out crowd witnessed intense racing across all classes.

SX1

The premier class was action-packed from start to finish. Aaron Tanti crashed hard but returned after entering the mechanics area. A tight battle for third unfolded between Cedric Soubeyras, Walsh, Nicoletti, and Harrison. Clout initially crossed the line first, but after Wilson’s successful appeal, race direction confirmed him as the overall winner, further strengthening his championship position.

SX2

Final 1 saw Larwood crash behind Barham, while Wilson, Todd, and Cole Thompson were involved in a crash together. Barham also crashed in a rhythm section shortly after being passed by Ryder Kingsford out of the lead. Race 2 featured an intense battle for the lead between Turner and Kingsford. Turner ultimately claimed the race win and overall SX2 victory on countback, after both riders were tied on points for the round.

The SX3 final delivered an exciting showdown. Ryder Malinoski and Kayd Kingsford battled closely, with Malinoski landing a wall jump into the whoops to secure victory, capping off a strong night of racing.
