Triumph Factory Racing has capped a landmark year in the United States with Jonny Walker securing the 2025 AMA EnduroCross Championship aboard the TF 450-E — the brand’s first major American indoor off-road title and a defining moment in Triumph’s young enduro programme.

Across six brutal rounds, Walker’s trademark mix of precision, patience, and grit delivered a near-perfect campaign. The British ace finished first or second at every stop on the calendar, turning a tight points chase into a historic championship breakthrough for both rider and manufacturer.

Fast Start Sets the Tone

Walker opened the season in style with the overall win at round one, immediately stamping himself as a title contender. He backed it up with second place at round two, then again at round three in Idaho Falls, keeping constant pressure on the early series leader.

Round four in Redmond proved a pivotal moment. On one of the most demanding tracks of the year, Walker fought through traffic and intensity to claim yet another runner-up finish, placing himself perfectly for the final charge.

Reno Sweep Changes Everything

Round five in Reno was the night the championship swung. Walker dominated with a flawless 1-1-1 scorecard, cutting the points deficit to just three and reigniting Triumph’s title hopes heading into the finale.

Everett Finale Delivers Triumph’s First Title

The season wrapped in Everett with a high-pressure showdown. Walker held his nerve, delivering a 1-1-2 result despite a broken gear lever in the final moto. The performance was enough to seal the overall round win — and with it, the 2025 AMA EnduroCross Championship.

“I’m really stoked on how the championship unfolded,” Walker said. “Finishing first or second at every round feels unreal. I can’t wait to go head-first into SuperEnduro in a few weeks.”

A Milestone for Triumph’s Off-Road Future

Less than a year after the TF 450-E made its competitive debut, Triumph Factory Racing has secured its first American indoor enduro title.

Team Manager Paul Edmondson called the moment “very special,” crediting Triumph’s global racing staff and partners. “Jonny has ridden incredibly well to deliver when it mattered,” he said. “I’m very proud of what has been achieved.”

Ian Kimber, Triumph’s Head of Global Racing Programmes, highlighted Walker’s seamless jump from the 250 to the 450 platform and his role in showcasing the new machine’s performance. “His smooth style really complemented the bike,” Kimber said. “Jonny has been the perfect rider to show what the TF 450-E can do at the highest level.”

Next Stop: SuperEnduro World Championship

Triumph Factory Racing now turns its attention to the opening round of the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Gliwice, Poland, on 13 December — carrying momentum and a new AMA number-one plate into the next phase of its off-road campaign.
