Beta has updated its competition-focused RR Race enduro range for 2027, with the biggest changes arriving on the four-stroke models in the form of launch control and quick shift technology.
Beta introduced the electronics on its MY27 RR X-Pro models, and they now extend across the RR Race 4T range, giving riders more options to get the most from the bike in competition.

FOUR-STROKES GET THE ELECTRONIC UPGRADES
Launch control lets riders choose from five levels of torque control to help manage traction off the start line, reducing wheelspin and unwanted wheelies.
The new quick shift system operates on upshifts, allowing riders to change gear without closing the throttle or significantly interrupting power delivery.
Both systems are controlled through new LC and QS buttons on a redesigned switch panel, which also retains Beta’s two-level traction control and two engine maps. The controls remain positioned within the handlebar pad.

The four-strokes also receive an improved voltage regulator, providing more stable power to the bike’s electrical system while increasing battery charging capacity.
Engine updates include titanium valves across several capacities. The 350 and 390cc models now use titanium intake and exhaust valves, while the 430 and 480cc engines receive titanium intake valves.
A new cam chain tensioner, borrowed from the RX 450F, also moves from the previous hybrid mechanical-hydraulic design to a fully mechanical system with a revised spring.

TWO-STROKE REFINEMENTS
The RR Race 125 2T gets an updated piston to improve smoothness and engine operation.
The 250 and 300cc two-strokes receive new main bearings designed to reduce internal friction and improve rotational smoothness and reliability.
The 300 RR Race 2T also gets revisions to the cylinder-head geometry and exhaust-valve timing. Beta says the changes aim to create a more progressive power delivery through the low and mid-range while maintaining the bike’s race-focused character.

UPDATES ACROSS THE RANGE
All MY27 RR Race models receive several smaller updates, including a stronger chain guide, softer grips, new red and blue plastics, and updated graphics.
A new LED headlight and shroud provide a brighter beam while using less electrical power, and the front sprocket guard has been redesigned for increased strength and coverage.
Beta has also revised the internal valving of the KYB suspension, with its engineers and race team refining the settings. The speedometer has been upgraded to a larger Trailtech unit, paired with a new wheel-speed pickup.
The proven Race chassis package remains, including the KYB sealed-cartridge front fork and C46 RCU rear shock, both offering extensive external adjustment. Quick-release front wheel axles, reinforced handguards, CNC alloy footpegs and the race-specific seat also carry over.
The two-stroke RR Race models continue without automatic oil injection in standard trim as Beta focuses on keeping weight down, although the system remains available through the Factory Parts catalogue.
The 2027 Beta RR Race range is expected to arrive in Australia from December 2026, with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
