Honda Australia is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Tatts Finke Desert Race with a limited-edition CRF450RX, complete with a selection of desert racing-inspired upgrades.
Based on the 2025 Honda CRF450RX, the new Finke Limited Edition also celebrates David Walsh and Honda Factory Racing’s dominant victory at the 2026 event.

Honda has plenty of history at Finke, having claimed 21 victories across the 50 editions of the legendary Alice Springs-to-Aputula-and-back desert race.
Finished in Extreme Red, the CRF450RX Finke Limited Edition comes fitted with more than $3,500 worth of accessories, headlined by an HGS stainless steel exhaust system and an IMS 12-litre fuel tank. It also scores a commemorative SKDA Finke 50th Anniversary graphics kit and matching seat cover.
The limited-edition model will retail for $16,399 RRP, just $1,500 more than the standard CRF450RX.
“The Finke Desert Race has been an important part of Honda’s off-road racing story here in Australia for decades, and this special edition model celebrates that connection,” said Honda Australia General Manager – Powersports and Products, Chris Schultz.
“The CRF450RX Finke Limited Edition pays tribute to one of Australia’s most iconic motorsport events, and we’re excited to offer riders the opportunity to own a unique piece of Honda’s racing history.”
Honda Australia hasn’t revealed exactly how many Finke Limited Edition bikes will be produced, so anyone keen to get their hands on one is being encouraged to contact their local Honda dealer.
