CHADWICK MAKES IT THREE FROM THREE AT DEDERANG HARD ENDURO

Beta Australia’s Ruben Chadwick has continued his unbeaten run in the 2026 Australian Hard Enduro Championship, claiming victory at Round 3 in Dederang, Victoria, to extend his perfect start to the season.

Riding his Beta RR 300 RACE, Chadwick overcame the slippery Victorian terrain and strong competition to notch his third consecutive win, strengthening his grip on the championship lead heading into the second half of the series.

Rain leading up to the event left the rocky creek gullies slick and technical, creating classic Victorian hard enduro conditions. Saturday’s prologue saw Chadwick locked in a race-long battle with rival Ibrahim, with the pair trading positions throughout the four-lap contest. Chadwick looked set to take the win before a small mistake late in the race allowed Ibrahim to edge ahead and claim the prologue honours.

Sunday’s main race proved a different story.

Starting in second, Chadwick stayed patient behind Ibrahim through the opening stages before the race turned at a challenging waterfall section. While Ibrahim attempted the direct line and slid back down the obstacle, Chadwick chose an alternate route, cleanly making the climb and moving into the lead.

From there, the Beta rider never looked back.

Although another challenger closed in during the latter stages, Chadwick’s technical ability through a difficult one-metre rocky step-up allowed him to stretch his advantage before maintaining a strong pace to the chequered flag.

“Despite the Victorian conditions not really being what I love, I just kept pushing on,” Chadwick said.

“Another good weekend in the books.”

It was also a successful weekend for Beta in the Women’s class, with Ebony Nielsen claiming victory aboard her Beta RR 300 RACE. The win sees Nielsen retain the championship lead as the series continues.

With three rounds complete and three wins from as many starts, Chadwick heads into the back half of the Australian Hard Enduro Championship as the rider everyone will be chasing.
