Brodie Connolly has wrapped up the 2025 Pirelli MX2 Championship with a round to spare following a dominant clean sweep at Toowoomba’s Echo Valley, round seven of the Penrite ProMX Championship presented by AMX Superstores.

The Polyflor Honda Racing rider posted a perfect 1-1 scorecard on the day, sealing back-to-back MX2 titles for the Kiwi. In a standout day for the manufacturer, Honda riders won every category contested across the weekend.

In the Kawasaki MX1 class, Boost Mobile Honda Racing’s Kyle Webster edged out a tightly packed field to take the round win and move into the championship lead. Jet Alsop (JPM Honda) claimed the overall in MAXXIS MX3, while SCT Logistics Honda Racing’s Charli Cannon again went undefeated in EZILIFT MXW.

Webster emerged with the overall MX1 win at Toowoomba, in what was some of the closest and most competitive racing of the season.

Triumph’s Zachary Watson was the surprise of the morning, clocking the fastest time in the AMX Superstores Pole Shootout, with a 1:59.812 lap that was three-tenths clear of KTM’s Nathan Crawford. Wilson Todd (Honda Racing) had topped qualifying and lined up third.

Webster led every lap of moto one, fending off pressure from Todd Waters (Husqvarna), who crashed out late, and then Crawford, who stayed close until the flag. Luke Clout (Empire Kawasaki), Todd and Kirk Gibbs (KTM) completed the top five.

Connolly was untouchable in the slippery Toowoomba conditions, topping qualifying by 1.35s over KTM teammates Byron Dennis and Noah Ferguson before winning both motos to seal the 2025 title.

In moto one, Ferguson made an early move to the front and held a strong lead until the final lap, where Connolly launched a late charge to steal the win by 2.85s. Alex Larwood (NFAL Honda) took third, followed by Ryder Kingsford (Yamaha) and Kaleb Barham (Kawasaki).
