2019 SUZUKI RM-Z250 ANNOUNCED

The next-generation 20189 Suzuki RM-Z250 has been announced overnight, the ’18 RM-Z scores it’s biggest facelift since 2010.

Whilst detailed information regarding the technical changes is limited at this time, SMC has confirmed that the 2019 RM-Z250 has been developed utilising the exact same product concept and design philosophy from the all-new for 2018 RM-Z450.

The fundamental performance elements of ‘Run’, ‘Turn’ and ‘Stop’ have been further evolved to achieve a higher level of performance, making the 2019 RM-Z250 ready to dominate the competition.

At first glance it is easy to recognise that the styling and bodywork design is unified with the current RM-Z450.

The latest generation frame and swingarm work in conjunction to improve upon the already class-leading handling and turning performance.

Front forks return to coil-spring type design with an updated rear shock to match.

A larger front brake disc and new front brake pads improve the RM-Z250’s stopping performance.

The updated 249cc engine benefits from improved throttle response and increased overall engine output.

The advanced traction management system has evolved to work seamlessly with the rider in order to get maximum power to the ground.

Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC) has also been enhanced for MY19.

A new exhaust system features changes to the structure and inner material.

Updated Renthal Fatbar aluminium handlebar and new tyres cap-off the list of key changes announced.

Expected Australian arrival and release during the first quarter of 2019.
