4. A Game of Skill & Strategy

Dirt Action’s Fantasy MX is a game of skill and strategy, not luck. Points are accumulated according to the rules set out in (5). Dirt Action’s Fantasy MX is not to be considered gambling as it does not rely on luck for success.

5. Rules of the Game

i) Sign up and create your account.
ii) Pick your team each round. Teams will consist of 2 riders in the MX1 class, 2 riders in the MX2 class and 2 riders in the MXD class.
iii) Think of yourself as a team manger, that has the liberty to change riders every weekend. Pick riders that are local to the track, or have been showing form of late to maximise your overall point score.
iv) LOCK IN your team. Once your picks are made, they are final so make sure you are confident before clicking that button.

Wildcard: All 3 classes will have an additional wildcard rider for each round. This is a 3rd pick for each class that is based purely on a finish position, decided by the team at DIRT ACTION. Each class will have a different wildcard position, based on a rider’s overall finish for that particular round.

i) Eg. RND 1, MX1 Wildcard (11th Place):
ii) If you select the rider who finishes in 11th place overall, you will be awarded with a perfect weekend score (equivalent of 1st place in all motos for the round).
iii) As an example, last year at Appin’s round, Joel Wightman finished in 11th place with 11, 11 moto finishes, mening had you chosen Joel, you would have bagged an additional 75 points!
iv) There is no penalty for choosing the wildcard incorrectly.

6. How points are scored in Dirt Action’s Fantasy MX:

Scoring: (Round) Scoring will be calculated by adding all points earned for all chosen riders (with exception to your wildcard), for each class at that particular round.
i) Points will be awarded per moto as per the WEM supplementary regulations
ii) An entrant who does not tip in a given round will score the result of the two lowest points results earned in each round

Scoring: (Season) Season points will be calculated by totalling all points earned from all your selected riders (across the 3 classes) at each round of the series.
i) 2019 Motocross Season = 10 Rounds

7. Prizes

Prizes may be offered at the discretion of The Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to change prizes at any time prior to formal recognition of the recipient.

7.1 Round Prizes: In 2019, round prizes will be awarded to the users with the top scores. You will need to finish in the Top 3 against all other participants on that race weekend to score yourself a prize.
i) Weekend prize payout is for Top 3 finishers and will be posted at the commencement of each race weekend.
ii) ***Weekend prize schedule is determined by Dirt Action Fantasy admin team and is non-negotiable and subject to change without notice.
iii) In the event of a tie, the user with the higher round points total from the previous weekend, will win the tie breaker.
iv) In the event of a tie at Round 1, the user with the higher round points total in the following weekend, will win the tie breaker.
