KTM has continued to evolve its cross-country offering with the release of the 2026 KTM XC range, building on four years of technical refinement and championship-winning performance in Australian off-road racing.

Built around KTM’s renowned steel frame with optimised wall thickness and revised shock mounts, the 2026 XC lineup delivers a lighter, more responsive chassis. A revised swingarm contributes to improved agility, traction and high-speed stability.

Power continues to be a strong point across the board, with both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines offering efficient, race-proven torque and top-end punch. Ergonomics are sharp, with a slim rider triangle and in-mould bi-composite plastics ensuring excellent rider feel and control. WP XACT closed cartridge forks and rear shock suspension remain key to the handling package, offering dependable performance across varied terrain.

For 2026, several key upgrades enhance durability, performance and practicality across the range:

  • Cooling System: All models now feature an improved radiator closure system that’s quicker to access and more reliable overall.
  • Fuel Injection: A new protective cap on the CPC fuel connector offers better resistance to dust, water and impacts.
  • Wiring Harness (2-Strokes): A revised harness layout improves durability and reduces the chance of electrical issues.
  • Updated Graphics: KTM dials up the visual impact with bold in-mould graphics combining orange with purple accents on the shrouds and fork guards, along with a black frame and seat for a more aggressive look.
  • Tyres: Every 2026 XC model comes fitted with high-performance Dunlop AT82 rubber front and rear for improved grip and wear resistance.

KTM’s XC range isn’t just built to look good on paper—it’s already doing the business at the highest level. Daniel Milner leads both the E2 and Pro Enduro classes in the Australian Enduro Championship on his KTM 450 XC-F, while teammate Jonte Reynders is out front in the E1 class aboard the KTM 250 XC-F. Both are part of the KTM DM31 Racing Team, proving the race-ready pedigree of the 2026 machines.

The new-generation KTM XC range will be available from authorised KTM dealers across Australia and New Zealand starting November 2025.
