About us

Dirt Action Amcross is the largest natural terrain motocross series currently held in Australia.

With history dating back to the tail end of the iconic “Thumper Nats”, Amcross continues to deliver a fun and friendly racing platform for competitors and 2021 is going to be the best ever as it’s the 20th anniversary of the series!

Focused on C-Grade riders, the series is targeted to riders from 7 to 70+ with wide-open grass track racing held across a weekend program of two days.

Boasting rider numbers in excess of 500 per round, the series travels around country NSW for six rounds throughout the year.

It’s a laid-back series with a huge focus on fun, grab a schnitzel at the pub, stay in a country town and race an epic track against your mates the next day.

In the purest of forms, Amcross provides grass roots moto-fun for the entire off-road motorcycle community!

What is AMCROSS and how does the series work?

For those riders unfamiliar with dirt action AMCROSS, here is how it works:

You must be a financial member of any one of the promoting clubs to compete at an AMCROSS event, for 2021 these include:

  • Bega MCC
  • Cooma MCC
  • Appin (Macarthur DMCS)
  • Wagga MCC
  • Dargle (Oakdale MCC)
  • Goulburn MCC

Entries will open 6 weeks prior to the event. All riders must enter each round individually, series entry is not available and only the first 40 riders in each class will be accepted.

Entries will only be accepted online via ridernet

You must have a valid racing licence to race dirt action AMCROSS, although day licences are available, riders choosing to race on a day licence must indicate so on their entry form.

Dirt Action AMCROSS is a club level racing series with events held on natural terrain circuits. Most of the tracks use an original grass surface and no man-made jumps.  Generally, the circuits are faster than conventional motocross layouts.

Camping facilities are available at some of the circuits, but it is better to check with the promoting club if unsure. Canteen facilities will be available at all tracks.

Each class for both juniors and seniors has a 40 gate start.

There are no round trophies for AMCROSS but there is a presentation of trophies and awards for those eligible riders who have scored points throughout the series. Each club may present small awards outside of those offered by our sponsors, for their respective round.

You must compete in a minimum of four rounds to be eligible for a series trophy.

All current and past point scores will appear on this website. Cumulative point scores for the season will also be uploaded after each round.
