With round one in the books, the 2016 Motul MX Nationals series now heads to Appin in New South Wales for round two of this year’s championship.

The Motul MX Nationals is the very pinnacle of motorcycle racing in Australia. The Motul MX Nationals is without a doubt the most prestigious Motocross Championship in the country. The Championship itself consists of ten rounds that are held across five states in Australia, with rounds from April – August.

With more than 100 competitors per round, the MX Nationals brings with it, a loyal fan base, more than 800,000 followers on Facebook, as well as more than 20 team trucks. The Motul MX Nationals is a roadshow in itself, and is widely recognized as being a regional town economy booster and tourist attraction.

When:
On April 17 the MX Nationals will head to Appin, New South Wales and bring you round two of this year’s championship.

Where:
Appin is located approximately one hour from Sydney. The track is situated at the McCarthur Motorcycle Club, Brian Road Appin.

The Round 2 Venue Essentials

Round 2 will take the series to Appin in New South Wales. The track at Appin is a very well laid out circuit with many great spectator vantage points, providing incredible views of the whole track. As race day day rolls on, this track becomes extremely technical with multiple line choices, which can catch riders out. Corner speed, and the ability to contend with a deep and rutty circuit will separate the top riders from the rest!
