In wake of this week’s earlier news surrounding the departure of Jake Moss, Monster Energy Kawasaki have named Kyle Peters as a replacement rider for the final two rounds. Peters will join Kade Mosig in the MX1 class and is no stranger to Australian competition.

In 2014 Peters claimed third in the Australian Supercross Championship after also contesting a number of junior and amateur events. Most recently Peters finished eighth in the Western Regional 250SX over in the United States.

“We are pleased to welcome Kyle to National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team for Toowoomba and Coolum,” commented team manager Troy Carroll. “Kyle has displayed his ability on many occasions in America and also here in Australia, so we look forward to working with him and finishing the season strongly.”

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Kade Mosig currently sits fourth in the MX1 championship and will be looking to break into the podium over the next two rounds.
