Dyce will look to defend the 125cc two-stroke 13-15 year old national title he won in Appin, New South Wales last year. To go with his championship the youngster also finished third in the 250cc four-stroke 13-15 year-olds class.

It would be a great achievement to come first again. I’m definitely hoping to improve from last year by taking out both titles,” Cody said.

I’ve never competed in Perth in my entire motocross career so it should be pretty exciting,” Cody exclaimed.

Cody has had a fantastic year having already won state Victorian titles in the 250cc and 125cc A Grade classes. He remains optimistic about his chances on the notorious sandy Bunbury track. “I’m alright in the sand. I’ll give it my best and I’ll see how I go,” he said.

Cody will also get the chance to ride with his little brother Kallam Dyce who was selected to represent Victoria in the under 9’s class. “My little brother Kallam also got picked to represent Victoria. He’s pretty pumped about it,” Cody added.

Dyce heads into the national titles with the help of coach Cameron Taylor, Stephen Powell from SPMX, Scott Bishop, Nick Sinclair, Fox, Shift, Pod, Bridgestone, Matrix and Ray Howard.
