In late October two BMW GS Safari events will embark on a lap of the Victorian Alps. When bookings went live in May, the regular GS Safari event sold out in 3 days, with over 200 entrants and a lengthy waiting list. To cater to the incredible demand, BMW Australia announced that a second event will take place. Called the BMW GS Safari Enduro, this new safari will run the following week with a modified route that will suit more experienced off-road adventure riders.

The final recce ride has just taken place to map both routes and from all accounts both rides will be epic. Both events start at Merrijig at the base of Mt Buller and over the course of 5 days, take in some of the iconic areas of Victoria’s Alpine region. Following rivers, cresting alpine passes and visiting some very out of the way areas, riders will be treated to some incredible riding and scenery.

The regular GS Safari may be sold out, but there are still limited spaces available for the BMW GS Safari Enduro event. If you are an experienced off road adventure rider and can handle your GS well on steeper climbs and descents then the GS Safari Enduro is for you, but hurry as there are limited spaces available

Dates: BMW GS Safari Enduro – Oct 27 to Nov 1. Suitable for experienced off-road adventure riders. For pricing and more information go to www.bmwsafari.com
