AME management have confirmed that the AUS-X Open will once again feature at Sydney’s Qudos Arena (formerly AllPhones) on November 12-13, 2016. The event is billed to be even greater than the last starring a number of international guests in a spectacle which will no doubt sell out early.

Fans are being urged to sign up for pre-sale ticket information where they can also vote on which international rider they would most like to see compete at this years event.

Event Director Adam Bailey is excited to see the AUS-X Open return and is already making plans to trump last year’s showcase.

“It’s awesome to be bringing the AUS-X Open back to Sydney for another year!” commented Bailey. “It truly is a testament to the dedicated Supercross and FMX fans in Australia, and we can’t wait to deliver another incredible show.”

“We’re urging fans to sign up to the link because of how quickly last year sold out, and for what we have in store so far this year, we have no doubts that it’ll sell out even faster!”

Billed as the greatest action sports competition in the Southern Hemisphere the AUS-X Open will once again team up with NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW. Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events and Minister for Sport, Stuart Ayres has noted the event down as a highlight on the NSW calendar.

“The AUS-X Open was a fantastic event in 2015,” Eyres said, “attracting almost 10,000 domestic and international overnight visitors to Western Sydney. I am pleased that it will be returning in November 2016, having once again been secured for the State by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.

The AUS-X Open promises to be even bigger and better this year, I look forward to seeing the world class line-up of riders who will be taking part.”
